Nestled within the mountains, Golden offers small-town vibes while still being close to the heart of Colorado. Denver, as well as its metro area towns such as Arvada, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, and Littleton are all less than half an hour away. With such easy access, you can enjoy all the amenities of the city while still appreciating the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Eligibility
In order to be eligible for intern housing at Mines, you must:
- Be 18 years or older at the time of your check-in date
- Provide proof of enrollment at an accredited college or university (e.g. an unofficial transcript)
- Be employed in an internship program
- Pass a criminal background check (upon completion of your application)
- Must stay a minimum of 6 weeks
